Our big name grocery store did almost the same thing here. Passover stuff, but no sign.

So, basically, they just took a bunch of known Jewish foods and put them on a rack?
Christmas Favorites! Jelly Beans and Marshmallow Eggs! Pumpkins for Carving! Sparklers!

Especially considering they had all this packaged food sitting around from six months ago.

Some places never learn. All they had to do was to ask someone in their community, but that would mean that someone would actually have to WORK!

My mother and I have both, at different times, explain to grocery store workers why specific foods should not go on the Passover display.
They tend to be pleased to know. I think they're often flying a little blind.
